This is probably the single most frequently repackaged and reissued of the legendary Prince Buster's many popular albums, and with good reason: it includes most of his truly essential material, including the hysterical "Judge Dread" (in which he sentences several street toughs to centuries in jail for "shooting black people" and "robbing schoolchildren," thus initiating a furious series of response songs in defense of Kingston's rudeboys), "Ten Commandments (From Man to Woman)," and "Too Hot," (which was later covered nicely by the Specials). This reissue includes six bonus tracks, which add even more of Prince Buster's most important songs, among them "Whine & Grine," the gleefully slack "Rough Rider," and "Madness," a song which would later be taken on as the namesake by the most popular British ska band of the Two-Tone era. While much of the music contained on his albums is every bit as worthwhile as this, these are the Prince Buster performances that every reggae collection really must include.
